2026 Resilient Growth: Alibaba & Ant Alumni Entrepreneurship Annual Conference Launches at Alibaba Center

    The technology cycle is often regarded as a chasm to cross. How will Alibaba alumni, who have experienced cycles such as the Internet, mobile, and digital – intelligence eras, start businesses together and grow resiliently in the AI era?

    On January 28th, the “Resilient Growth in 2026: Becoming the Power of the Cycle – Alibaba & Ant Alumni Entrepreneurship Annual Meeting”, hosted by Alumni Inside & Outside and co – organized by 36Chuang and Alibaba Center・West Lake, grandly kicked off at Alibaba Center・West Lake. More than 500 entrepreneurial alumni returned from around the world to attend this annual event.

01 Technological Outlook: AI and the Next – Generation Internet

    Zhao Deli, the chief scientist of DAMO Academy, shared “AI and the Next – Generation Internet” with the alumni. She sorted out the evolution context of AI’s penetration from the model layer to the industrial layer, proposed four implementation paths for AGI/ASI, and clarified that AI is entering the 3.0 stage centered on robots as the core physical intelligent agents. She also shared forward – looking trends such as decentralized computing and breakthroughs in visual models, allowing AI entrepreneurs to intuitively feel the opportunities in the technology cycle.

    Chen Mi, the general manager of DingTalk in East China, demonstrated “Work Styles in the AI Era” with A1 on – site. He showed DingTalk AI’s real – time transcription, content summarization, and multi – dimensional analysis capabilities in meetings, training, and sales visits, as well as its efficient conversion from voice to structured data. At the management level, AI can automatically identify high – quality sales leads, evaluate team performance, and assist in talent selection, providing implementable intelligent management and collaboration solutions for entrepreneurs and enterprises.

    The sharing of the two guests, from the two dimensions of technological frontier and application practice, confirmed the entrepreneurial logic of  “active creation”  rather than  “passive adaptation”  in the AI era.

02 Ecosystem Aggregation: Unveiling the Spark List of Alibaba Alumni Entrepreneurship, Witnessing the Resilient Growth of Alibaba Alumni

    Ni Wei, the initiator of Alumni Inside & Outside, reported on the work of the past year and how to “Resilient Growth – Becoming the Power of the Cycle”. He said that Alumni Inside & Outside is everyone’s “entrepreneurial mid – platform”, jointly initiated by alumni who have worked in Alibaba or Ant for more than 10 years and have outstanding resources in a certain field. Currently, there are 5 people, and more alumni are welcome to serve everyone. He said that the core ability of this “entrepreneurial mid – platform” is to help entrepreneurial alumni “find people, find money, and find orders”, enabling everyone to earn more and save more.

    [Spark List of Alibaba Alumni Entrepreneurship] was officially released. Representatives from Alumni Inside & Outside, 36Chuang, Zhejiang Small and Medium – Sized Enterprises Association, Zhejiang High – Tech Enterprises Association, 36Kr, LatePost, etc. jointly unveiled it, comprehensively displaying the entrepreneurial achievements of nearly 2000 alumni who are  “a bit idealistic and with a youthful spirit”. 

    On – site, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Zhejiang Branch and Alumni Inside & Outside launched the  “Exclusive Support Plan for Alibaba Alumni Entrepreneurship”, injecting new impetus from aspects such as capital and resource docking to support the development of alumni – owned enterprises.

03 Practical Sharing by Entrepreneurial Navigators: Dissecting Key Nodes and Breakthrough Ideas in AI Entrepreneurship

    A group of entrepreneurial navigator alumni who have made rapid and long – term progress on the entrepreneurial path shared their experiences. Li Duoquan, the founder of Xiaoshu Huizhi, focused on Chinese enterprises going global and provided a one – stop intelligent marketing solution based on AI and big data. Peng Congyang, the founder of Zhixingyuan, is committed to building an AI director – producer system, promoting the generation and upgrading of commercial – grade video content through self – developed visual engines. Shangguan Chunmei, the founder of Rongyisuan, centered around the “AI + finance and taxation” scenario and provided intelligent financial and digital compliance services for enterprises with an open and co – building approach. Chen Yanxiu, the person – in – charge of the overseas business department of Lianxin Cloud, introduced how their “human – centered model” integrates psychology and AI to achieve humanized decision – making support in scenarios such as emotion recognition and personality analysis.

04 In – Depth Debate at Two Round – Tables: Decoding the Industrialization of Embodied Intelligence and the Real Experience of AI + Going Global

    The round – table on embodied intelligence took “Has the critical point of embodied intelligence industrialization arrived?” as the topic, hosted by QQ of 36Chuang. Chen Mingxiu from the Embodied Intelligence Laboratory of DAMO Academy, Li Longfei from Independent Variable Robotics, Li Sen, a partner of Ruierman Technology, Deng Chengcheng, the founder of Aibot, and Zhao Zhelun, the co – founder and product president of Vita Power discussed together.

    The guests had in – depth discussions around topics such as “What technological breakthroughs were seen in 2025? Which scenario is most likely to trigger large – scale explosion? And the linkage between hard technology and the capital of listed companies”. The guests said that in 2025, embodied intelligence had achieved breakthroughs in core technologies such as motion control, dexterous operation, and interaction, and the products were closer to practical application scenarios. The guests predicted that structured/semi – structured scenarios might become the vanguard for its large – scale implementation, and practical applications would be launched in 2026. The coordinated development of the “brain” and the “body” is the key direction.

    The round – table forum on AI + going global focused on  “Insights and Practical Experiences of AI + Going Global” , hosted by Li Ming from Yuanjing Capital. Ji Ruilong, the general manager of Tuya Smart in North America, Jin Hongzhou, the founder of e – Sign, Deng Meng, the rotating CEO of Mioexpo, Hu Yu, the founder of Wotu Technology, and Xue Youwei, the vice – president of Merach discussed together.

    The guests shared their personal experiences based on their going – global practices and pointed out that Chinese enterprises going global are transforming from the OEM model to independent brands and intelligent manufacturing output. The integration of AI with multiple industries has become a prominent trend. At the same time, from different dimensions such as software and hardware, ToB software, and marketing exhibitions, they dissected the practical experiences and key points to avoid in going global and clarified that 2025 was the first year for ToB software to go global. Each enterprise released resources for ecological co – creation on – site and jointly advocated for the industry to go global together and grow resiliently.

05 Warm – hearted Gathering: Paying Tribute to Contributors and Continuing Alumni Friendship

    On the entrepreneurial path, there are not only partners fighting side by side but also silent contributors. The annual meeting specially set up an award – giving session named  “Still a Youth on the Entrepreneurial Path” . Many outstanding alumni such as Shen Naiting, Zhang Ge, and Chao Che won awards. Thanks were given to them for their efforts and contributions to the development of the alumni organization and the fission of branches.

Chen Li, the general manager of FESCO Adecco in Zhejiang introduced the services tailored for alumni, further improving the service chain of the alumni entrepreneurship ecosystem.

    During the reunion dinner, everyone raised their glasses to catch up, shared contacts, and chatted about resource integration. Many alumni said that they didn’t expect to meet “big – shot” colleagues whom they didn’t have the opportunity to get to know at work. This meeting means they will go forward together in the future!

    The wonderfulness of the annual meeting did not end. On January 29th, the [Closed – door Meeting on Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions] will continue to have closed – door exchanges around the two topics of  “Research on Global Asset Allocation from a Macro Perspective” and “Dissecting the Elements of AI Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions through Real Cases”. 

    From technological outlook to practical sharing, from ecosystem aggregation to resource docking, these “youths” who have worked on large platforms for many years and then started their own businesses shared sincerely, and the listeners were enthusiastic. This gathering of the entrepreneurial power of Alibaba alumni, as advocated by the theme of the annual meeting, will become an indispensable force in the cycle with a united and resilient growth!
