A new business management platform aimed at trades businesses with mobile workforces has been launched by b4b.

RemoteWorkr is the latest project from the Poole-based marketing and software agency.

b4b describes the platform as ‘a tried-and-tested job management system that seamlessly integrates customer relationship management, job scheduling and workforce co-ordination into a singular, intuitive platform’.

Jed Murray, Head of Software, pictured left, said: “From discussions with our clients, it became clear that job and customer management was a challenge faced by many trade businesses we worked with, particularly for those with teams attending appointments remotely.

“From these discussions, the idea of RemoteWorkr was born and we have been working behind the scenes for the last two years developing and customising the platform.”

The platform is designed to run every job from start to finish, saving time and eliminating stress.

b4b says it brings together enquiries, estimates, quotes, jobs, staff, invoices, and more — all in one place.

Due to being cloud-based, the platform can be accessed across every device – PC, mobile and tablet – making it particularly suited to mobile businesses.

Chris Moreton of ProStar Energy, pictured right, whose company has been using the platform for the last few months, said: “RemoteWorkr has without doubt enabled us to streamline our operations and be more organised as a business.

“This has helped us respond to new leads quicker and provide a more joined up journey for our customers from enquiry to installation.”

b4b said the main aim behind RemoteWorkr was to develop a system that would streamline how businesses managed their operations out in the field by digitising a lot of previously manual tasks such as reporting, generating invoices, job scheduling and keeping customers updated.

By doing so, trade businesses of all sizes will be able to optimise their workflow, increase efficiency, and ultimately achieve greater success and increase their revenue, according to b4b.

The platform is available on a licence model paid monthly per user, along with a minimal installation fee.

It’s also available ‘out of the box’ or can be customised to suit particular styles of working if required at an additional charge.

b4b is currently offering demonstrations of the platform either in person or online to interested businesses.

The first ten businesses to sign up will benefit from half price licence fees for the first six months.
